Rahu in 8 H: Example with Dwisaptati sama Dasa.

Respected Members,
Hare Rama Krsna !
I am given some brief introduction of this scientist in my message number 23890.
This person is Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Plank, nobel prize winner in Physics.
More you can read his biography from this link :

Here I have written a short write up explaining the role of Rahu in 8thhouse in his CAREER using dwisaptatidasa in his life :
Date: April 23,1858
Time: 12:00:00
Time Zone: 2:00:00 (East ofGMT)
Place: 7 E 49'00", 48 N 35' 00"
Kiel, Germany
Ayanamsa: 21-52-42.33(Lahiri Ayanamsha)

I am using Dwi-saptati sama dasa as it is applicablein this horoscope ( if lagna lord is in 7th or 7th lord is in lagna and365.2425 days solar years) :
Main features of this horoscope:
1) Lagna Lord Moon is vargottama.
2) Sun is exalted and digbali in 10thhouse.
When luminaries are strong in the horoscope, all other rajyogas manifest fully, gives the person name & fame for his works in society.
Strong luminaries imparts free flow of knowledge from all sources to the native, notice here moon is in Leo & Sun in Aries even in D-24, Shiva bestowed full blessing on him and provided needful resources to him to explore.
3) Rahu in own rashi in aquarius in 8thhouse and its co-lord Vargottama Saturn is in Lagna. :
See the serious influence of 8th house in his life, he was the serious researcher and always his intelligence enquiring the unknown phenomenon of nature.
4) Moon is with ketu in 2nd house : Mind always probe into minute details and interested in microscopic level of analysis, tiny things allure him.
5) Jupiter is with mercury within a degree and is combined in all divisional chart. : This clearly shows how Shiva will send him the right guru in any sector of life and he will be guru of many. Good guru-sisya yoga.
6) Retro mars in 5th house aspected by JU-Mer. : Logical approach towards understanding.
There is many raj-yoga in this chart which reader can verify themselves.
Now how rahu dasa antara dasa has strong connection with destiny can be seen through Dwisaptati dasa:
(Here all quotes all from the above mentioned link):
Jup MD: 1865-05-08 - 1874-05-09
Rah AD: 1868-09-22 - 1869-11-07
==>In 1867 the family moved to Munich, and Planck enrolled inthe Maximilians gymnasium school, where he came under the tutelage of Hermann Müller, a mathematician who took an interest in the youth, and taught himastronomy and mechanics as well as mathematics. It was from Müller that Planckfirst learned the principle of conservation of energy.
This is how Planck first came in contact with the field ofphysics.
<==
As soon the first antara dasa of rahu came under Jupiter mahadasa, he came under the influence of Muller (Right Guru) who thought him physics and law of heat.
Ven MD: 1874-05-09 - 1883-05-09
Rah AD: 1876-08-07 - 1877-09-22
==>In 1877 he went to Berlin for a year of study withphysicists Hermann von Helmholtz and Gustav Kirchhoff and the mathematician Karl Weierstrass.
<==
Again after ten years this antara dasa of rahu, he again met new seriously acclaim scientist as his gurus for further research and exploration.
Ven MD: 1874-05-09 - 1883-05-09
Moon: 1878-11-07 - 1879-12-23
==>In October 1878 Planck passed his qualifying exams and inFebruary 1879 defended his dissertation, Überden zweiten Hauptsatz der mechanischen Wärmetheorie (On the second fundamental theorem of themechanical theory of heat).
<==
This moon antaradasa in venus mahadasa gave him the first recognition of what he learnt and experimented with above guru's. Lots of Inspiration came.
Reason are explained in point no.1&2.
Sat MD: 1883-05-09 - 1892-05-08
Rah AD: 1884-06-23 - 1885-08-08
==>In April 1885 the University of Kiel appointed Planck asassociate professor of theoretical physics.<==
Again in Saturn dasa rahu antardasa he got promotion in his research work.
See Saturn is vargottama aspecting 10th house.
Rah MD: 1892-05-08 - 1901-05-09
==>Within four years hewas named the successor to Kirchhoff's position at the University of Berlin— presumably thanks to Helmholtz's intercession — and by 1892 became a full professor.<==
Look how beautifully `the Maharaja Rahu' put him in the `throne' (the successor ) to do research as its Mahadasa started.
In this whole mahadasa of rahu from may 1892 to may 1901, he did lots of experiments and research.
This rahu has put him into lot of labor and hard work.
(Reasons no. 3.)
Sun MD: 1901-05-09 - 1910-05-09
==>Planck revised his approach, deriving the first version ofthe famous Planck black-body radiation law, which described the experimentallyobserved black-body spectrum well. It was first proposed in a meeting of theDPG on October 19, 1900 and published in 1901 (presented to the DPG on 14December 1900).
The various local Physical Societies of Germany merged in1898 to form the German Physical Society (Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft,DPG); from 1905 to 1909 Planck was the president.
<==
This is the mahadasa of digbali sun, lord of lords J. Look how his fame travelled with the speed of light across all direction in the universe. The `karma-yog' he done in rahu mahadasa was presented in Rahu-Saturn (Dec 1900) and was put to glittering light by sun in its own antar dasa (published in 1901)
In 1898 various physical societies merges: at this time Rahu-Jupiter was running : This indicate that how he was posed Guru by his students (may be some politics could be there) among all societies.
Again in 1905 it was same Jupiter antara under sun mahadasa when he was made president.
Sun MD: 1901-05-09 - 1910-05-09
Rah AD: 1909-03-24 - 1910-05-09
==>During 1909, as University of Berlin professor, eight of hislectures were used by the Erest Kempton Adams Fund for Physical Research in Theoretical Physics at Columbia University in New York City for a series of lectures translated by Columbia University professor A. P. Wills
In July 1909 wife Marie Planck died.
He retired from Berlin on January 10, 1926
<==
Again this Rahu antara dasa in Sun mahadasa , his works were used practically by various societies and translation was done for many students.
Wife dies rahu is marak for 7th house.
It was this Rahu who laid foundation of career by coming at right age in 1867 now this same rahu is made his journey of career complete and retired him.
Moon MD: 1910-05-09 - 1919-05-09
Sun AD: 1918-03-25 - 1919-05-09
==>It was in recognition of Planck's monumental accomplishmentthat he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918.
<==
Highest award surely fits in mahadasa of Vargottama lagnesh moon and digbali sun.
---------------
Major weakness of this chart is retro mars in 5th house due to which his children died early for one or other reasons in spite of the aspect of Jupiter, and this 8th rahu gave difficulties on this account in personal life.
I had major a small attempt to understand rahu, hoping all will enjoy it.

House no. 8th, Suicide

Dear Kulbir Bhai,

Hare Rama Krsna,

In short i will only say that suicide, murder, accidents etc is the negative aspect of 8H and
Samadhi, Sahid, body parts donation (like donating kidney) is the positive aspect of 8H.
[8H : primarily Karak is Saturn and secondary Karak is Mars]

Now how one categories Kamikaze (?), Jauhar, Sati Pratha, is totally dependent upon one's thinking & understanding. [Characteristic of lagna and status of moon sign]

I stick to those vedic teachings which consider 'suicide' as a major sin and 'sacrifice' as the great virtue. Both belongs to 8H significance.

I will never accept 'suicide' is an 'act of bravery', 'needs strong nerves', big guts etc etc,... just foolish statements.
As an astrologer i strongly condemn it.

In last fortnight of dec 09, one client came to me, who was the owner of prestigious share brokerage firm having good turnover and many offices. He incurred huge losses and now his business is out of his control, he worriedly said to me " Baar baar izzat bazaar mein karab hone se accaha hai ki ek baar mein hi maar jao"

He was totally engulf in fear [Karak : debilitated moon, i.e. moon in scoprio in rasi of mars of 8H]
and mental anguish [Karak : Vish yoga of Saturn + Moon] that his wife too worried of him.

As an astrologer [Jupiter] we are here to show the path\teaching of SUN, the major karak of HOPE, not malefic part of saturn of 8H [s
uicide].

So that person over-comes the weakness of moon and does not perform suicide, "the act of cowardice",[Karak : debilitated Mars, see mars is delibilated in 4H of mother, impulsive act out of frustration, devoid of Happiness]

Those person who perform suicide dis-respect & de-grace their physical mother, who give birth after lot of pain and Mother Jagat Jannini.

I hope i have cleared my view on suicide.

Thankyou,
Best Wishes,

Jaipur
.

Dear Goel Ji,
Impulsive act of suicide is governed by RAHU.
Suicide for a purpose/cause is governed by - Guess! ?
Regards
Kulbir Bains

Dear Kulbhir Bhai,

Hare Rama Krsna,

//Impulsive act of suicide is governed by RAHU.[also ketu]//

Partly correct...

//Suicide for a purpose/cause is governed by - Guess! ?//

Suicide itself is purpose,
We can say the Karak of death (in any manner) is Saturn.

Basically Saturn is Karak for longetivity, when ayu finishes, death take place.

Thankyou,
Best Wishes,
Vijay Goel
Jaipur.

Respected all,

Hare Rama Krsna,

Sri Krsna says, INTENTION is more important behind every Karma\ action than
karma itself, as intention is gati\force to meet its destination.

Now if someone jump into river for suicide and another one jumps into river to
save him, and due to circumstances and destiny both dies.

Both person perform the act of 8H.

Now its one's understanding over teachings who is right or wrong ?, who is brave
or cowardice ?

Thankyou,
Regards,
Vijay Goel
Jaipur.

Respected Bhaskerji,

//Suicide and the act of saving cannot be delegated to the same house. If on one side you say that the person who committed "Suicide" is a coward, and relate this to the 8th house, then how can you also out the person who is "Brave" enough to save him, also to the 8th house.

What astrology is this ?//

Look in both cases Death took place, so 8th house has come into force in both the chart in different manner.

In 'suicide case', Lagna, moon and sun is weak and person's consciousness is over powered by debilitated mars and weak malefic saturn.

In 'saving case', Lagna, moon and sun is strong and person's consciousness is over powered by exalted mars (look mars is exalted in saturn sign Makara) and exalted ketu.

In simple astrology we don't need charts everytime.

Thankyou,
Regards,
Vijay Goel
Jaipur.

Respected Bhaskerji,

//A man is drinking liquor in a bar. Another man drinking sharbat in a
wedding reception. Now the 2nd house is active in both cases. //

Man who is drinking liquor has involved saturn and moon combination related to second house,
whereas man drinking sharbat, Venus for juices , moon for water, jupiter + moon for sweet-water ... is more related to 2H.

//Or a husband and wife having sex, and two lovers having sex. The 8th house is activated in both cases. //

In formar case of husband and wife , venus is exalted in pisces, (sex within dharma, absorbing the positive energy of jupiter).
lover having sex means that Venus is more destined towards scorpion energy, working at tamasic level.

Thankyou,

Its already too late, i have to go now ...

Saturn in 4th House

Respected Bhaskerji and other respected members,

Thankyou for sharing your experience.

//will produce detachment in the native....but very good for the latter part of Life, when one wishes to enter the Sanyas ashram. //

This statement is very true, irrespective of any 'Avastha' of saturn and if other condition as you have mentioned is also fulfilled than it is sure.

This is also confirmed by great astrologer Shri H n Katwe. Due to this tendency they become great donors, they donate lands to Trusts and sometimes everything for the cause of humanity and may lead poor life in old age.

Few important inputs which should be kept in mind:

1)As per 'Mansagri' If saturn is in 'Direct motion' he is bad for siblings and friends (Bandu Nashak) and sickly. If saturn is in 'Retro Motion' , it destroyes wife, children even servants and leave his village or motherland.
The important thing is that we must see that Retro saturn is worst and it completetly destroys happiness of 4th house.
What i feel that the values of MOON is completely destroyed but the values of Venus may florish if saturn is in good avastha.
Person becomes cold hearted and he hates (fears) poverty completely and tries to overcome it with all efforts.

2)As per Bhrigu sutra :
if saturn is also Lagnesh than mother will have long age.
If saturn is 8th lord than mother will die early (also same for father).

3) Native can have two mothers or two wifes (one seperates early). (I think we must look moon, venus, 4L,7L, etc also).
Seperation from father could be there or father could be sick. (8th from 9th house and enemy to sun).
Overall sukh from parents is lost.

Example of One famous cinema star Marylyn Monroe am producing :
Female :
Date: June 1, 1926
Time: 9:30:00
Time Zone: 8:00:00 (West of GMT)
Place: 118 W 14' 34", 34 N 03' 08"
Los Angeles, California, USA

"Exalted Retro Saturn in 4th house"

Her Statement :
Femme fatale :
" I knew I belong to the public and to the world, not because i was talented or even beautiful, but because i had never belonged to anything or anyone else. Only the public can make a star. It's the studios who try to make a system out of it"

This is a very good chart to understand saturn in 4th house.

Step parents, multiple marriage, huge publicity, No children, disease at old age, everything , all masala of sani is present :)

(In this kaliyog we are not looking for Sri Ram Horoscope atleast from west)

Link is :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marylyn_Monroe

The words from Shri Katwe fits well here, native is unhappy in his childhood and in old age. Only in middle part of life he flourishes.

Thankyou,
Best Wishes,

Re: doubt regarding saadhe-saati

Dear Manoji,

//
Then in the same manner, why cannot we consider planets in adjacent signs, close to each other, as conjunct?//

The reasoning of +- 45 from moon in sadesati and the principles of conjunction is different.

Sri H N katwe and Sri K n Rao when speaking of sadesati they are basically providing the average distance from moon which impact most {which comes under house division concept and the karak is sun.}

When we consider planetary conjunction it comes under nakshatra principle.

1) Planets in same nakshatra in same pada will follow same AIM and will have same direction ( dharma, artha, kama, moksha for four padas respectively).

2) Planet in same nakshatra but different pada mean the influence on chita(mind) will be similar but its reactions on mind will generate different aim.

3) Planets in different nakshatra but same pada, then these planets will have same aim or direction in life but with different emotional impacts. You will see that all planets in same pada are in trines in navamsha.

4) But if planet are in different nakshatra and in different padas that the conjunction will have very less impact jointly and they will show their own behaviour independently.

I hope i have able to convey the message.

Thankyou,
Best Wishes,

LK Grammar : Aayu Chakra

Date 5th sep 2008 : 1.07 am

Respected Priyaji Sir,

The dasa sequence of 36yrs cycle (2nd one) is quite logical as per LK principles.

It starts from Index finger (jupiter finger),
Aries : 1-3 years
Taurus : 4-6
Gemini : 7-9

than middle finger (saturn),
Capri : 10-12
Aqua : 13-15
Pisces : 16-18

than ring (sun) finger
Cancer : 19-21
Leo : 22-24
Virgo : 25-27

than pinky (mercury) finger.
Libra : 28-30
Scorpio : 31-33
Sagg : 34-36

I think three years are alloted for each rashi to accumulate the result of three phalanges (spiritual, mental, physical).

* * * * * *

The dasa cycle of 35 yrs is unique to Lal-Kitab.
It does NOT have any similar match with traditional astrology.

In traditional astrology, maturity cycle of planets is described below.

Till 16 years of age child is under the supervision of elders.
Four years each of Mother, Father, Guru & Society.

The further cycle is :
Jupiter :16-22: (completes education)

Sun :22-24 (takes independent decision)

Moon :24-25 (understands socialism)

Venus :25-28 (understand marriage and family life)

Mars :28-32 (competes for livelihood)

Mercury :32-36 (Establish himself in 'give take' policy of society)

Saturn :36-42 (Hard work for second rise in society)

Rahu :42-48 (Diplomatic understanding)

Ketu :48-54. (makes some image in society)

This is just my view to look at dasa cycle.

Thanks and regards,
Vijay Goel.

Respected Vijay ji,

Simply superb !

Thak you so much for your input.

Ketu In 6th House : Lal Kitab

Date: Thursday, 21 January, 2010, 3:57 PM

Dear Kulbhir brother, Chetanji and all,

Namaskar,

//
Ketu in 6th house :
1) dog in the skin of lion
2)kutta kya jaane halwe ka swad ya kutte ko ghee hazam nahin hota.
3) jaisa munh waisi chapped
.
//

My vedic views to understand it :

A)Ketu is the karak for 6th sense, and all we know that Dogs have highest 6th sense naturally.

B)Ketu one extra leg (in three legs ) is of Jupiter, which means that Ketu is the BLIND followers of Jupiter, it walks as jupiter (Guru) directs him. We know that Ketu does not have head so works blindly based on extra sensory sense, 6th sense mainly is 'intuition', is the matter of 'heart chakra' normally.
For example, 'Jehadis' who are terrorist in name of religion. They blindly follow Guru's direction.

We see that Dogs are most faithful also.
Hence Dogs is represent \ karak of Ketu is rightly said by Panditji.

C)Now Karak of 6th house is majorly Mars for fights and Mercury due to Kalpurush lord.

We see that here Ketu is neecha\debilitated in Kalpurush chart, what does it mean ?
Simple Ketu's 6th sense of perception and spirituality is lost, he gets totally confused in the world of greediness (mercury).

D)Here he gets association with Mars (karak of 6H), prime enemy of mercury.
Mars is anger, mar + ketu is pisach dosha, extreme anger which cannot be controlled easily.

Now ultimately Ketu in this house the persons gets confused over dharma , cannot understand what is right or wrong, hence reacts in a very angry and frustrating manner.

Therefore Pandit says that dog in the skin of lion.
He does not know 'halwa ke swad' simply means that material desires is not suited to him and he rejects it in a frustrating \ roaring way, as he himself is fixed in it and wants to come out of it.

Therefore Panditji says to wear a gold ring, to control mercurial waving nature through gold means pure thoughts.
This will improve the diplomacy tendency (which is lost), hence improve in relation especially with Mother's family, Mamas , Mausis, sister directly and overall improve in social behavior which will help to win over enemies, etc
------------ --------- -

Thanking you,
Best Wishes,
Vijay Goel

Dear Goelji,

A very good explanation. Indeed praiseworthy.
But i couldn't understand as to how mars is karak of 6th house.

Regards
Kulbir Bains
-------------.

Dear Kulbir bhai,

// But i couldn't understand as to how mars is karak of 6th house.//

When you will see the significance of 6th house, it mainly indicate fights and diseases.
Therefore , Mars is primary karak and Saturn is secondary karak is as per principles of vedic astrology which has been very well incorporated by Panditji at all appropriate places.

I have seen that at many instance Panditji has explained this House Karak and Planets (sambhand) relationship concept in a very effective, practical and unique way, which is also the foundation base concept of LK astrology.

Combustion

Dear esteemed members and Bhaskerji,

At combustion, planet loses its own rays due to close proximity to sun.
A) It means that the combust planet obscured by the rays of the Sun, is considered impotent (weak to act independently).

Combust planet express itself through Sun.

Important Note : Retrograde planet does not lose its rays at combustion.

Now,
B) Sun is the Karak for lagna, signifies self (EGO).
Due to closeness of combust planet SUN is also affected with the qualities of the combust planet

To say to someone that Mars is combust and therefore weak (impotent) will not ring true because the person KNOWS that the traits of Mars are strong in their nature (self). Similarly, although Mercury suffers combustion, the qualities of Mercury are also reflected through Sun...
The native KNOWS he's not lacking intelligence.

However, ego and pride (boastfulness) would likely be quite prominent in regards to intellect (Mercury) and force of character (Mars)..

C) Sun is karak for Dharma and Agni which purifies the individual beings by cleaning them with Spiritual heat.
To say,
Combustion of Jupiter will make you pass through a phase of spiritual growth like gold passing theorugh fire to come clean and combustion of Saturn will burn the sins attributed to adharma you did in the past birth by forcing you to serve elders and father.

D) Also look for natural friendship and enimity of Sun with combust planet.
For example,
Combustion of Venus indicate delays in marriage ( perhaps Sun shows it's anger) and it also indicate Dharmic attitude of Venus at relationship, no extra marital affairs or love affairs...

E) The combination of combust planets is also an important consideration.
For instance, the combined influence of Mer/Mars (on Sun) would be different to the combined influence of Mer/Ven or Mer/Jup...

F) How results will be manifested can be seen through house and nakshatra lordship yogas.

//3) What could be the effect of a combust and retro Mercury ?//

Retro mercury will not lose it rays so combustion results will be not pronoused and Budh Aditya yoga will give its full effects.

I hope it will help.

Thankyou,
Regards,
Vijay Goel
Jaipur.

Dear Vijay Ji and others,

In one of his lectures Hart De Fouw said the following:

"Sun is only the indicator of the Atma or the Soul. Nowhere in the classics does it say it denotes the "Ego". Even some classical Indian authors have fallen for this "Western" notion that Sun denotes the "Ego".

So, if any one has a classical reference to Sun denoting the "Ego" instead of the "Atma", please do provide it.
Â
Regards,
 –Manoj

Dear Manojji,

//"Sun is only the indicator of the Atma or the Soul. Nowhere in the classics does it say it denotes the "Ego".//

This is true. But Sun, Jupiter is also the Karak of Lagna. Jupiter indicate intelligence, wisdom whereas Sun indicate health and sense of individuality.
This individualistic attitude, knowing of self and at spiritual level it is atma so is SUN.

In Gita it is clearly mention that Gyana yoga or Knowledge brings pride and ego, Badhaka for Moksha, clearly pointing out the negativity of sun and jupiter (associated with lagna\LL) at excessive strong level (Rajasic level).

I mean that at positive normal level sun will bring confidence (karak sun) and over (karak rahu) confidence brings ego (karak rahu + sun) and pride (karak jupiter). The excessiveness is indicated by rahu as per classic, infact 'ego' is rahu as per classic as per my memory.

Phaladeepika in Chapter 3 when referring to the Avasthas mentions that planet which is in combustion is in Vikala Avastha, means distressed mood.
Actually sun is over powering and giving stress to the combust planet.

Many parameters will convey the final status of combustion.

May be these thought could be helpful. :)

Vaivarta Puran, Prakriti Khand & planets relationship.

Dear All,

In Bhrama Vaivatra Puran, (Pg 85 Gita press Gorakhpur) in Prakriti Khanda, Bhagwan Narayan says to Narada that on five Devi is called Prakriti in which this Universe is dependent.
These five Devi are :
1)Durga (who is mother of Ganesh)
2)Laxmi
3)Saraswati
4)Savitri
5)Radha.

I think these are referred as Five Tattwas and just a though came to my mind to relate these with five planets as following:

1)Durga : Planet is Mars.
2)Laxmi : Planet is Venus.
3)Saraswati : Planet is Mercury.
4)Savitri : Planet is Jupiter.
5)Radha. : Planet is Saturn.

Though Rahu\ketu and sun\moon are excluded in basic scheme of tattwas still we can classify by putting Rahu and ketu with Durga, Sun with Saraswati & Moon with Savitri.

This is just my thought and shared with all, if you find appropriate than discuss it else leave it.

Thankyou,
Best Wishes,
Vijay Goel
Jaipur.

------------x-------------x

Dear Sunilji and all,

I have heard of the story you are mentioning, it is right.

Basically mine classification is based in tattwa concept and the kind of feminine energy associated with these five Devis as mentioned in Puran, which is the basic entity on which Universe is dependent.

If you will see Sri Radha's life was full of sorrow in the view of Sansara to the extent that she was not even married to Krsna. She was the complete epitome of saturn, she can feel the slightest pain of any and has the capacity to uplift from that pain. See how vayu tattwa (sani) was dominant in his life giving her great internal strength.

Reciting Gayatri mantra, Sri Savitri gives wisdom and knowledge, just see the relationship of Savitri and jupiter. Akash tattwa in the body will increase and become prominent.

You can seek help from Sri Durga for the protection of Dharma, main philosopy of mars is to protect from Adharma. Agni tattwa will get prominent, Agni is Dharma.

Sri Laxmi and venus needs no explaination.

Sri Saraswati with mercury also needs no explanation.

-----------------

We can say Shiva has many form, we can consider as jupiter in context like Param Guru, and Sun as Shiva in another context for example their is a sloke in jaimini where sun+ketu is considered as Shiva worshiper [as per my memory]. Even saturn and mars are also taken as the Rudra form form Shiva. I think Bhatuk Bairav form is Shiva is considered to uplift from the sorrow of saturn. Hanuman another rudra form for mars.

--------------------
We can put all nine planets within the Shiva Parivar (family) under different classification,Like Lord Kartikey for mars, Lord Ganesha for mercury, etc.

---------------

We have many ways, at different context, to consider the deity and planet relationship.

Thankyou for reading.

Regards,
Vijay Goel

Astrology & science

Dear all,

One interesting fact on vedic astrology basics :

I found one correlation to build a bridge between what is assumed in astrology and what we could find on the physical plane. I didn’t know that what I learnt in my primary school would help me out here. It is VIBGYOR! Yes, it is the spectrum of light and the sequential arrangement of different colours in the spectrum that holds the key!

The Sequence of wavelength as per ascending order is :

Gamma rays
X rays
Ultra violet Radiations
Visible Light
a)Violet
b)Blue
c)Green
d)Yellow
e)Orange
f) Red
Infra Red Radiations
Microwaves
Radiowaves.

Now Marking the planet with associate colors in VIBGYOR we get :

Ultra Violet Radiation - RAHU (upper non visible range).
(Vi)olet or Indigo - SATURN
(B)lue - VENUS
(G)reen -MERCURY
(Y)ellow -JUPITER
(O)range -SUN
(R)ed - MARS
Infra Red Radiations - KETU

ADD MOON as pale yellow or off-white in between Jupiter and Sun and the new sequence as follows :

I] Ultra Violet Radiation - RAHU (upper non visible range).
ii] Violet or Indigo - SATURN
iii] Blue - VENUS
iv] Green - MERCURY
v] Yellow - JUPITER
vi] Pale Yellow or Off white - MOON
vii]Orange - SUN
vii]Red - MARS
ix] Infra Red Radiations - KETU

We can draw the following conclusions based the spectrum diagram and the colour that each planet represents:

1) The electromagnetic radiation of all physical planets in the solar system is mostly in the visible spectrum range (between 400 to 700 nanometers - nm)

2) Rahu (ultraviolet, 10 to 400 nm) and Ketu (infrared, between 700 nm to 1mm) radiations are beyond the visible range. You must also note that in vedic astrology rahu acts like Saturn (both co-lords sign Aquarius) and ketu acts like mars (both co-lords Scorpio).

3) Within the range between Rahu and Ketu, planets emitting in higher wavelengths (above 540 nm) seem to be friendly to each other as follows :
I] Ultra Violet Radiation - RAHU (upper non visible range).
ii] Violet or Indigo - SATURN
iii] Blue - VENUS
iv] Green - MERCURY

And planets emitting in lower wavelengths (below 540 nm) seem to be friendly to each other as follows:
v] Yellow - JUPITER
vi] Pale Yellow or Off white - MOON
vii]Orange - SUN
vii]Red - MARS
ix] Infra Red Radiations - KETU

Planets emitting radiation in higher wavelengths and lower wavelengths seem to be not in harmony with each other.

4) Now one more set can be drawn :

I] Ultra Violet Radiation - RAHU (upper non visible range).
ii] Violet or Indigo - SATURN
AND LOWEST ones
vii]Red - MARS
ix] Infra Red Radiations - KETU
These planets are Tamasic in nature.

MIDDLE SET:
iii] Blue - VENUS
iv] Green - MERCURY

These planets are Rajasic in Nature.

MIDDLE LOWER ONE :
v] Yellow - JUPITER
vi] Pale Yellow or Off white - MOON
vii]Orange - SUN

These planet are Sattwik in nature.

In general, the radiation wavelengths of Tamasik planets will be either lower than 440 nm or higher than 620 nm.
In general, radiation wavelengths of Rajasik planets would be in the range of 440-540 nm.
In general, the radiation wavelengths of Satvik planets would be between 540-620 nm.

5) One more set can be drawn based on same sequence is :

The top and bottom consist of natural malefic like
I] Ultra Violet Radiation - RAHU (upper non visible range).
ii] Violet or Indigo - SATURN
vii]Orange - SUN
vii]Red - MARS
ix] Infra Red Radiations - KETU

AND Middle one consists of Natural Benefics like :
iii] Blue - VENUS
iv] Green - MERCURY
v] Yellow - JUPITER
vi] Pale Yellow or Off white - MOON

It is now evident that the wavelength of the radiation of a planet determines its basic characteristic and the nature of influence on us. PROBABLY, we could generalize saying that any
radiation from any object in the specified range (as discussed above) would have similar effect
on us.

--------------------------------x---------

I thought I will reproduce an extract from a book. (Its called the Tao of Physics and it is written by Fritjof Capra).

"Material objects not only determine the structure of the surrounding space but are, in turn, influenced by their environment in an essential way. According to the physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach, the inertia of a material object - the object's resistance against being accelerated - is not an intrinsic property of matter, but a measure of its interaction with all the rest of the universe....When a body rotates, its inertia produces centrifugal forces....but these forces appear only because the body rotates 'relative to the fixed stars', as Mach has put it. If those fixed stars were suddenly to disappear, the inertia and the centrifugal forces of the rotating body would disappear with them".

Now, isn't that POWERFUL!!! The interconnectedness of the Universe - the "unity and interrelation between a material object and its environment" gets established so beautifully through this precept.

I'll leave u with a quote from Fred Hoyle from the same book:

"Present-day developments in cosmology are coming to suggest rather insistently that everyday conditions could not persist but for the distant parts of the Universe, that all our ideas of space and geometry would become entirely invalid if the distant parts of the Universe were taken away. Our everyday experience even down to the smallest details seems to be so closely integrated to the grand-scale features of the Universe that it is well-nigh impossible to contemplate the two being separated"

Aspects in Lal-kitab and Tajik links.

Dear Kulbir Bhai,

The aspect in Jaimini system does not have any connection with LK.

In my view aspects in Tajik system matches with Lal-Kitab to some extent.

In Tajik system : Reference Tajik Nilkanthi chapter 2nd sloke 9-13 (Dristi phal adhaya)

1) Any planet aspects 5,9 (trines) from other planet is called friendly aspect (Pratyaksh sneh dristi) and Lal-kitab also says similar aspect which is 1-5 and 9-1.

2) Any planet aspects 3,11 from other planet is called secret friendly aspect (Gupt sneh dristi).
Whereas in LK 11-1, 1-3 is called 'Achanak chot'. Here 'chot' means wounded is like a Heart Break. (It means that some secret friendly relation was there.)

3) Any planet aspect 1,7 from other planet is called direct enemy aspect (Prayaksh Ver dirsti)
but in Lal-kitab this aspect is not mentioned.

4) Any planet aspect 4,10 from other planet is Secret enemy aspect (Gupt ver dristi).
In LK 1-4, 10-1 is termed as Dhoka dristi. 'Cheating' is always done by secret enemy, something like 'Vibhisan' to 'Ravan' in Ramayan.

5) Other aspect like 2,12,6,8, is called 'Udhasin' or NO aspect in Tajik, here it means that planets will have no affairs, to the other planets in 2,12,6,8 aspect.
It can have two meaning :
a) does not want to help (6,8) due to serious difference in thoughts and action.
b) not in position to help as they themself are dependent (2,12).

Whereas in LK 1-8, 6-1 is called 'Takrav ki dristi'', means that these planet will bring obstacles or inimical to each other.

Both LK and Tajik system is based on yearly progression concept but in different way.

Traditional aspect of planets are same in LK.

Jaimini Rasi dristi (sign aspect) is not at all touched in LK, so i am not discussing here.

Vijay ji,

thanx for sharing and explaining so lucidly. I think that on
record, it is the first time that someone has written a comparitive
note on these 2 systems. Plz continue with such like write ups in

V} Remedies for Amavasya Birth.

BPHS

1-9. The Sage Parasara said. O Maitreya! The person, born on Amavasya, is always poverty stricken. It is therefore essential to adopt remedial measures to obtain relief from the evil effects of such births, which are, as follows. Take a Kalash (water vessel) and then put in it fresh leaves of Goolar (wild fig), Vata (banyan), Pipal, mango and Neema (mango) trees and cover it with two pieces of cloth. Then install the Kalash in the South-West direction after reciting … etc. and … etc. Mantras. Then worship the idols of Sürya and Candr, ruling deities of Amavasya, made of gold and silver, mixed with copper, respectively, by recitation of … etc.
Mantras for Sürya and … etc. Mantras for Candr 16, or 5 times. Thereafter perform Havan
with 108, or 28 oblations of the mixture of prescribed fuels (…) and cooked food (Charu) with recitation of Mantras of Sürya and Candr. Later sprinkle the water on the child, that is born and his parents and offer in charity gold, silver and a black cow together with feeding the Brahmins, according to ones means. By performing these remedial rites the child born gains freedom and protection from the evil effects of the birth on Amavasya.

Effects Of Navamsa
By yenbeeyes
Kalyana Varma in his Saravali has devoted 5 chapters for Lost Horoscopy. Lost horoscopy means that when the time of birth or time of conception is not available, one can trace the lost birth details through horary method-this is how he begins the ‘Lost Horoscopy’ chapter. Under Chapter 51 he gives the effect of Navamsa Varga and lists out the details of complexion, disposition and appearance for a Native. The chapter begins with the verse:
‘A native's complexion, disposition and appearance can be deduced based on the rising Navama at birth. The effects being stated infra will depend on the stronger of the two, viz. the Moon's Navamsa dispositor and the Navamsa Lagna Lord.’
In the concluding part on Lost Horoscopy he also states that ‘Lost horoscopic rules as expanded by Yavana, Bhadasana etc are ambiguous in some parts. So he has asked us to use our judgement before arriving at the result.’
Learned astrologers have stated that the relevant rules can be exchanged for
horoscopes known as well.
Hence with a view to familiarize the readers and students of Astrology, I have
tabulated the results of all the 108 Navamsas and presented it here.
