It is like that : sometimes Jupiter (teacher), other time Mercury (student)....

Mercury matures to become Jupiter and again Moon (new random thought due to restlessness or fickleness ) enters in Jupiter's domain, New Mercury is born, matures to Jupiter and cycles goes on and on...

The story that wife of Jupiter abducted by Moon and than Mercury is born is crystal clear now....

To stop this cycle complete 'Bhramcharya' is needed, No new thought no more mercury :)). 
Hence MahaYogis moves to solitude place and whenever they are seen, never teach,  they only bless...

It is like when Mercury rises from Rajasic Guna to Sattwik Guna matures to Jupiter at Rajasic Guna and teaches and transfer the digested knowledge to new mercurians but when Jupiter rises up to Sattwik level He only blesses.

I think this is the evolution process of thought and final dissipation in the mother's nature.

If sun, mars, rahu and Saturn endowed with strength occupy the 5th house while Jupiter be devoid of strength, then also the person will not have sons

If rahu be in the 5th house, aspected by mars, or if rahu in the 5th house be the house of mars, the children will be destroyed due to the curse of serpent

If the 5th house be the signs of mars (aries, scorpio), the lord of the 5th be with rahu, even if aspected by or joined by benefics, there will be destruction of children due to serpent's curse

If Sun, Saturn, mars, rahu, mercury and Jupiter occupy the 5th house, the lords of the lagna and the 5th houses are weak, there will be destruction of children due to serpent's curse

Karake rahusanyukte va sarpashapat sutakshayah

If lagna lord or jupiter join rahu and the 5th lord joins mars, there will be destruction of children due to serpent's curse

The effects for destruction of children are based on these combinations of planets. Remedial measures include worship of the snake god

18 swagruhya uktavidhanena pratishtham karayet sudhih

Nagamurti suvarnena kritva pujam samacharet

The worship is done for a gold idol of snake, as per rules

19 go bhoo tila hiranya adi dadyat vittanusaratah

Evam krite tu nagendraprasadat vardhate kulam

Donating a cow, land, sesame seeds, gold etc as per procedure. By doing these, by the grace of the king of snakes, the family will flourish

Encounter of various system in my journey of astrology.

When i started learning astrology, i probed into all type of system of fortune telling available to me way back to year 1995. Started with Godmen's sun signs, numerology, Palmistry, etc  than jumped to finally Parashara & Jaimini.
 
In 1997, when i joined ICAS, Jaipur and started having systematic studies under guidance of stalwarts teachers.
I always had deep interest in Parashara and Jaimini system as both these system compliments each other as well as a complete system to study the various complexities of human life. Since Human behavior and karma does not have any boundaries, in these system dept of understanding is also vast, infinite and complex.
I always loved challenges and complexities.

In this Modern Era many researched minded scholars did researched in above subject and for the sake of simplicity and easiness, they came out with various new methods. No doubt their efforts are of great worth.
I started to probe various modern system so that some new researched with respect to modern context could be known.


KP system:
I read KP system as developed by Prof. K.S.Krishnamurty. I found the two things can be picked from this system to get greater understanding for using Parashari techniques.

One is house division known as Placidus system. amoung various house division, this system was very well researced and practiced by the author so i directly adopted this house division and neglecting other till more researched is done.

Second is adding many new significance to Houses. They have classified nearly all aspect of modern events in one's life to houses.
for example their was no interview word in classics, but 3rd house denotes interviews. like wise it is better and easy to learn and understand various significance of houses (bhavas) from this system under modern context.


All other works was irrelevant to me so i didn't had any interest for it.

System Approach of Sri Choudhary :

This system basically give very large importance to Mool rasi like venus mool rasi is tula, sun is leo , moon is vrishav, mars is mesh, mercury is kanya, saturn is tula, jupiter is dhanu. They consider other lordship as weak.


From this system i understood the various in-dept intricacies and importance of Mool Rasi (roots rasi).

Though i don't find interest its methodology as whole.

Krushna's Astakvarge :


The basis of this system is 8th house. This system comsider 8H as the Karak for the house in consideration, for 1H, 8H is karak , for 2H, 9H is karak , etc.
Here i found a very new outlook to understand 8H. This system also give the reasons for the allotment of 120 years vimsottari dasa based on the logic of astakvarge and nakshatra.

It's Ayanamsa which i reject completely in the same way as Raman's Ayanamsa.

Ayanamsa :

I stick to Lahiris's Ayanamsa because one very big reason was attached to it. Sri Yogiraaj Shyam Sunder Lahiri  was Kriya Yoga master and the direct Sisya to Mahamuni Baba.
Secondly my Master Sri K N Rao and Sri Satish Sharma, Sri Shakti Mohan Singh stick to it.

Lal Kitab :

Most confusing and difficult for me in all the system i came across in my short journey till now. Even Ramal is far easy than Lal Kitab.
After putting 6 years in this subject and various interaction with stalwarts of this subject and acquisition of all original five volume transliterated in Hindi, with over 25 books including some rare photocopies and books of Sri Krishan Ashant, late Smt. Amrita Pritam,  i am able to grasp some of its basic intricacies.

This system gives excellent discription on House - Planet relationship. 

Nadi Astrology mainly of Sri R G Rao of Bangalore.


One of the best works on Planet-planet relationships.

There is many similarities with Lal kitab as basics

Sun or moon afflicted in the horoscope.

I encounter with this video and just few combination flashed in my mind.

If their is saturn+ketu or saturn+ rahu or sun+saturn, any combination in the chart.

This is advice to listen to this video whenever they think for their parents.

Some thoughts for coming new year 2011-12 for India : Mundane astrology.

Dear Members,

Hare Rama Krsna,

Today, i am trying to explore the mundane astrology using principles taught by my teachers in my early days in schools but i never gave any importance to it. These are the authentic tools and can be properly re-searched at modern context.

This year entry of Chaitra Sukla Pratipada at Delhi [77E13,28N40], India will be on 3rd April 2011 at 20:04:09 hours.

The chart is:

 

List of Cabinets for this new Samvatsar :

1) King : Since this new year start from Sunday so the king should be Sun [one school stick to this day] but at morning the tithi is Amavasya therefore as per panchang rules whole day is considered amavasya , therefore next sunrise Pratipada tithi will rising on Monday so finally the King is Moon. [Another school consider this hence controversy]

Results of Moon as King : Normally there will be plenty of rains and abundance of all kinds of crops, vegetation and milk. [all karaks of moon]. Lakes and dams will be full. People will be happy, prosperous and religiousminded.

But Moon is placed in 6H in above horoscope indicate fights over water resources, floods and calamities due to heavy rains, Destruction of crops and vegetation and due to practice to black marketing by greedy peoples there could be shortage of food and rise in prices. Challenges for the government machinery in controlling above Mal-practices by capitalist business empires. It can indicate spread of water borne disease.

Moon is 10th lord with number of planets in 6H, Ministers will have to face many challenges at every matter of country.

King is akin to Lagna therefore moon placement in 6H will bring over-all poor health of the country, loans will increase and fear from enemies, disease and natural calamities will come to pass. In above chart Lagna Lord Venus is in 5H shows that due to blessing of wise people, especially economists (Venus indicate economist and tax advisers) and of past experience they can manage the challenges. Many forewarning will be provided by them but Venus 2-12 from Moon, indicate delaying of decision and implementation by the government.

Vehicle of the King : The vehicle is 'Deer' for Moon, it indicate peaceful, adequate rainfall, swiftness and increase in production (GDP) in country.

As moon is in 6H , industries will rise with caution and fear of terrorism within the country. Swiftness [like deer] in actions for internal as well as external security will be highly needed to meet out the challenges.

Minister : The daylord when sun ingress in Aries is the minister. On 14th april 2011, 12.53.00 on Thursday sun will enter in Aries, Rising Lagna is Cancer. Hence Jupiter is minister of the year.

Aries is natural karak for any start and first rasi of zodiac.

Results of Jupiter as minister : Happiness, plenty of corn and vegetation, contentment, good cattle and plenty of milk.

In above horoscope Jupiter in 6H is in own rasi. Hence new policies regarding import-exports will be made to control finances and resources of the country. Sincere attempt will  be made by the government to control prices (like Rations shops, Kishan shops etc), to increase agricultural yield and help general public.

Minister is akin to 10H,  in above horoscope 10L moon in 6th house indicate that ministers who are involved in scams and could get prosecuted as Jupiter and moon conjunction is present. Laws and supreme court could play the major role in shaping the future of the country.

Mars + retro mercury + moon + sun + jupiter in 6H indicate that greedy large business empires to fulfill there greediness they can loot the country with the help of government policies.

Lord of grains : When sun ingress in cancer, the day-lord is lord of grains. This year on 17th July at 3:14:01 hours on Saturday sun will enter in cancer, the natural rasi karak for for food, peace and longevity. Therefore lord of grains is Saturn.

Result of Saturn as lord of grains: This indicate shortage of grains and anxiety. black soils proves fertile, scanty rainfall.

Saturn is retro and in 12H in sign if mercury above horoscope. This indicate black marketing created by large business groups, losses of grains due to lack of storage or wastage of grains in large cold or open storage.

Lord of Grains is akin to 4H matters : In above horoscope 4th lord is also Saturn and lord of grain is also Saturn. 4th lord in 12H indicate the general people will strive in scarcity, people could immigrate from one place to other in search of livelihood and food. 

Foreign influence will increase.

Lord of fort : The day-lord when sun ingress in Leo sign is lord of fort. Sun will enter in Leo rasi on 17th aug 11 at 11:41:41 hours on Wednesday. Therefore Mercury is Fort lord.

Results of lord of fort as Mercury : People have all type of material benefits and standard of living increases. Traders fearlessly move across the country with there goods.

Now in above horoscope Mercury is retro and debilitated. The Karak for security is mars aspected by saturn. All these planets in 6H is creating fear amoung traders class. Un-ehtical trading will rise to highest level. Government will fail in foreign policies and fear for war is present.

Lord of finance : Dhanesh will be the day-lord when sun will ingress in Virgo. On 17 sep 11 at 11:40:36 hours on Saturday, sun will ingress in Virgo, the natural rasi karak for business. Therefore the Lord of finance is Saturday.

Result of Saturn as lord of finance : This indicate scarcity in finance, people will be bereft of liquidity, government will have shortage  of funds and peoples and ministers could be sick.

Since Saturn is retro in Virgo, in 12H in above chart, it simple indicate that lots of funds will be put off for modernization and construction of hospitals. New vaccination campaign could be started at large level all over the country. New fund allocation could be made for natural calamities and tragic management. Since there will be scarcity in govt. fund, lot of donation and loans could be raised from foreign countries and world organizations.

Since Virgo is inflicted so average business class people will be at problems and strange fear will be prevailing among them, may be due to failure of govt. policies and at security matters. Stock exchange could crash very badly, reviving many sour memories of past.

Lord of finances is akin to 7H matters : Mars is 7L in above horoscope and karak for business people is mercury is retro and debilitated, aspected by Lord of finance Saturn from 12H. Unethical business will flourish and basic commodities with be forcefully put to scarcity by these rich class people by hook or crook.

In this way we can calculate more factors with sun ingress in every 12 sign.

Eclipse should be studies for natural calamities in the country.

Now in above chart all planets are in dual sign except Venus. These eight planets aspect each other with Rasi Dristi. This is the major indication for natural calamities. Now if these indicate verified with eclipses in the country than prediction for natural calamities can be done.

Overall this coming year is only full of challenges for government as well as for people.

Nadi astrology and Profession

Saturn is main significance of  Karma in Nadi astrology hence signify profession \ career.

The PAC (position,aspect,combination) relation of planets with Saturn in the horoscope says about the nature of profession of the native.

The success and failure in the profession is seen from the tenth lord from Saturn.

1) If the tenth lord from Saturn is well placed (kendra and trikone) with respect to Saturn then there will be success, growth and huge potential to earn money.

2) 10L poised in 6,8,12H from Saturn will bring difficulties and obstacles.


3) Planets which are poised in 6,8, and 12H from natal Saturn will give an insight about the fall in one's profession.

Dasa and Bhukti lords when they are placed in 3,6,8,12 Houses from natal Saturn will bring in fall.

Astrologically let see what planets express on this occasion on this valentine on 14th feb 2011 :

Two Jal Tattwa planets, Venus and Moon represent Love at Rajasic and Sattvic Level respectively.

Jupiter is significator of Truth and Mars is significator of Valor.

Sun is the protector of Dharma, indicate religious & country laws which protect customs & norms of society.
 
Mercury is power of money.

Gemini and Virgo indicate gardens and supermarkets.

Observation :
 
1) Venus is in Saggitarus with Rahu and in Navamsha Division it is debilitated in Virgo with Mars.

2) Moon is in Gemini with Ketu and in Navamsha division it is in Capricon aspected by Saturn.

3) Venus dispositor Jupiter is in own sign Pisces, Moon dispositor is mercury with exalted Mars within 5 degree in Capricon.

Conclusion :

Difference between Common sense and Intuition

1) Common sense means to focus on Desh, Kaal, Patra (country, time & native) while deriving results from astrological techniques.

2) Intuition : means the ability of the astrologer to focus on Heart Chakra and deliver unbiased results.

Nakshatra Transit rule from KP astrology

I am providing the very important transit rule from KP system with a example for getting a loan:

In Transit any planet passing through the nakshatra of the planet placed in 6th House will bring him approval and timing of loan.
eg. Suppose Jupiter is in 6H, any planet in Transit passes through Punervasu, Vishaka, Purva Bhadra (stars of jupiter) will get him loan.

Now if this planet is in 4H, get through mother, if 11H than friend, etc.

If there is no planet in 6H check the lord of the house.

This principle is mentioned in Advanced Steller Astrology Volume II by Jyothish  Marthand Sri K.S.Krishnamurti. (1960 edition) Page 6-7 is the following :

Suppose there is the planet in the sign.Then, the planet is the source of light. It indicate the source of result which the native enjoys by its nature, ownership, etc.

If the planet is lord of  1, he gains by its own efforts and influence. If it is the lord of 3, through brother or publication, he gains or losses, depending on the sub. If it is the lord of 4, through mother or matters signified by the 4th house, he has that result. If it is lord of 5, through speculation, music or children , he enjoys the result. Thus the planet who transits or the planet whose period is running, shows how one gets the result, how a result is brought about., etc.

The sign and its lord indicate the extent to which one can enjoy as it shows whether the planet is strong or weak.

The lord of constellation is that which shows the nature of the result, i.e. to which house the lord of constellation is the owner. Then the matter signified by those houses will manifest.

Suppose the lord of the constellation owns the house 3 and 10 i.e., Mars to Aquarius-borns or Venus to Leo- borns.

Then the planet in Mars constellation [Mrigshira, Chitra, Dhanista] to Aquarius-borns or in Venus constellation [Bharni, Purva Phalgun, Purva Shada] to Leo- borns shows that one corresponds, interview [3H]  or make a short journey [3H] for a job [10H]. 
Then the favorable or unfavorable  SUB denotes whether he will be successful or not.

When ? It will be in the co-joined period of planet, star lord and sub lord.

Further, a planet in the Sub of an evil planet indicate loss, difficulty or failure whereas the same planet in the same star in the Sub of benefic promises success, gain and pleasure.

The lord of constellation may indicate the matter of 7th house.
The planet in the Sub of a malefic causes enmity whereas that in the Sub of benefic brings in harmony and happiness. Also the planet in the Sub of a evil one threatens loss in litigation whereas that in the Sub of benefic denotes victory even though the constellation lord denotes litigation.
If the planet indicates business, the start governs by this planet shows business, the planet in the beneficial Sub promises profit whereas that in the Sub of evil one threaten loss.

The lord of constellation may show any one walk of life to the native. It is the Sub which decides whether the areas is advantageous or not and thereby indicates whether the planet occupying or transiting therein will offer desirable results or adverse ones.

Angaraka yoga and Vijayi yoga

Dear Santoshji,

I have read that in Mars + Rahu conj - If the deg of Rahu is more that Mars then it is known as Angaraka yoga.

If Mars degree is more than Rahu ( that means it has already transited Rahu and is not in or approaching its mouth ) then it is known as Vijayi yoga.

Is this wrong? As earlier also in some thread there were dissenting notes on this.

Now on the advent of this dasa he is at the stage of total closure of his business. though i warned him many time earlier and to overcome his weakness but fate is fate.
(Business is Industrial in nature.)

Practically it seem like a Angaraka yoga where due to ego, anger and boasting he is at the fall.

What happens when the Mahadasa is of malefic planet and antardasa of the Yogakarak (functional benefic) planet Vimsottari dasa is running in the  horoscope. ?
As many time stated by Sri K N Rao in its writing that it is exceedingly bad. There are quotes in Laghu parasari book, now which i am not able to reproduce here.

Dharmi Tewa don't indicate  enlighten souls, nor a parameter to says that these combination make sure to get enlightenment.

The main theme is very simple in LK:
1) Moon represent heart and emotion and Ra\Ke signifies  excited or depress state of emotions.
So moon + ra\ke makes the person,  who can easily able  to control emotion as per their wish, if they practice for it.
For eg. in a good psychologist charts you can find this yoga easily. But negatively these combination creates fear and phobias.

2) Saturn works as an executor of law of Karma, Jupiter signifies truth. If saturn has relationship with jupiter, person attains very good discriminating power under natural law of justice.
Saturn + Jupiter is Brahma yoga in traditional astrology which means that person has the ability to forsee past, present & future.
In many successful person this i have seen this yoga because they put proper justice to the work they undertake (especially if it is in 10H). If we focus the house and other combination we can know where this Brahma yoga is working. Negatively this yoga creates power seekers.

If both these condition are met in the horoscope, there is a chance that person can attain spiritual enlightenment naturally with less efforts, which is the main purpose of birth.  Person is inherently fit in the qualification required as per Patanjali Sutras.
Even if person is honest and truthful towards its actions, he is sure to rise at soul level.

The text from LK-52 page 43, under heading Dharmi Grah,

"yaani agar rahu ketu khana number 4 yaan chandra ke saath kissi bhi ghar ho Aur (2)(second condition) sanichar khana number 11 yaan brihaspat ke saath kissi bhi ghar mein ho, to aise teve mein paap(rahu ketu) yaan paapi (sanichar rahu ketu) dono ka hi bura assar na hoga aur sab grah dharmi honge"

All paapi will  become Dharmi if both condition satisfies, the word in conjuction in hindi is used 'AUR'.

In Farmaan no. 14 Lk-52 page 227 under heading Tewe ki kisme (Types of horoscopes):

11 sani ho ya saath guru ho  paap chander 10 chauthe ho

Pichle janam ka sadhu hoga  dharmi tewa sukh dewe jo.


In the above verse it is clear, 
I) Saturn in 11H or with Jupiter, 
II) Ra\Ke with Moon or in 10-4 house axis.
Person will be saint in past birth hence chart will be Dharmi tewe (pious chart).

Lal Kitab 1942 page 43 :

Rahu-ketu Khana .........AUR sanichar khana number 11........

Agar rahu ketu khana number 4 ya chander ke saath kisi bhi ghar ho AUR agar sanichar khana number 11 ya brishpati ke saath kisi bhi ghar mein ho to uus tewe mein paap ve paapi dono ka hi bura asar na hoga aur saab dharmi grah hoge.
If Ra\Ketu in 4H or with moon in any house AND if saturn in 11H or with jupiter in any house than RKS will be good and all planets will be Dharmi (Religious, truthful, pious).

This above verse very clearly states that both condition must be fulfilled.

I think there could be major misconception among many astrologers that either of the condition will make the chart a Dharmi chart.

But in my understanding it will be NOT appropriate to take 'either condition of rahu and moon or saturn and jupiter' as explained above by me or if you think logically otherwise.

Iyer's Principle: Sthoola and Sookshma lords

Dear Manoj ji,

Thankyou for putting one more important Iyer's principle.

// It is Iyer's principle of Sthoola and Sookshma lords of houses. The sthoola lord is the usual Rashi Lord. The Sookshma lord is the Lord of the Star where the cusp of the particular house falls. So in this method each house then has two lords.//

Just my understanding on this principle.

`House' in the horoscope basically indicate two sambhands :

1) Signs and 2) Bhava.

1) Signs : The karak for signs is Sun, as 12 rasis indicate twelve position of sun in a single rotation. Sign will indicate the circumstances native will face and its lord will show up the application of this Buddi (Intelligence), how he applies dharma on that particular circumstances.

This is clearly termed as Sthoola lord by Sri Iyer.

2) Bhava : This means emotions (Chita). Emotion is rules by moon which is infact the lord of Nakshatra. (moon is married to all nakshtras, Rohini is favorite because moon stays much longer period there). The emotional experience of the house can be seen from the nakshtra of the lord of house which is used widely or it can be shown up the nakshatra of the house (cusps) which is termed as Sookshma lord by Sri Iyer.

This principle is very interesting, logically digestable and thankyou for showing up its application also.

I hope the division of bhava is based on the Ascendant degree + 30 degree and its multiples.

Let me give you yet another reason for marriage in Rahu-Mars that has not been discussed so far. This is a principle that I have not been trying much, but one of my teachers likes a lot. It is Iyer's principle of Sthoola and Sookshma lords of houses. The sthoola lord is the usual Rashi Lord. The Sookshma lord is the Lord of the Star where the cusp of the particular house falls. So in this method each house then has two lords.

Applying this principle here, we find that the Sookshma Lords of 2H, 7H and 11H are Sun, Mars and Mars, respectively. Hence you can see that Mars is the Sookshma Lord of both the 7H and 11H and he also disposits Rahu as the Sthoola Lord of 8H. So clearly Rahu-Mars has the ability to give marriage.

Here Devotion of Saturn and wisdom of Jupiter make the person very responsible is also termed as Bhrama yoga, means ability to see past, present and future.

2)Ketu in house no. 4

Person surely takes dips in Ganges.

3)Ketu with Moon in any house.

Here person reject too much materialism and seeks meditation to understand himself.

Now Second group.

4)Rahu in house no.4

5)Rahu with Moon in any house.

6)Saturn in house no. 11.

All above combination makes to person too much attracted to materialism first but he does not gets peace in some or other way. He therefore turns to spiritualism as soon he finds some genuine Guru.

It should be read as:

Now it means that , males who are unintelligent, illerate and live like

instinct, they should be kept under control with strict force of fear,

what lagna should be taken if lagna of 00:01 degree

Actually i am using the principles as explained by Shri K N Rao in his book "Planet and children".
He has explained how saturn, jupiter, mars and moon transits in native charts brings child birth. In 1997-98 i have attended the lectures of him as our routine studies.

What i have done is reverse engineering ie from the data of child , correct the janma lagna of parents, many articles on this reverse engineering has appeared in journal of astrology.

I never do horoscope reading for my clients unless i get satisfied with the correction of the horoscope.

Just for example , Today i got the birth details from a client who resides in delhi on phone.
Female :
Date: July 11, 1981
Time: 10:35:00
Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)
Place: 77 E 33' 00", 29 N 58' 00"
Saharanpur, India

Her lagna changes in 41 secs.

The birth details of her son is :
Date: November 15, 2005

Now from the chart of her son and by reverse engineering technique as discussed in the book "planet and children"

Than i checked the marriage timings and other incidents as per our parashari teaching and found to to more appropriate when checked with divisional charts.

transit Sa, tr Ju and tr Ma had anything to do with mother's 5H, 5HL, 9H and
9HL.

If Lagna is taken as Leo, transit Moon was in her 9H. Was this the reason you
rectified the lagna from Virgo to Leo?

You query is perfectly right which i cannot explain now, infact when i struck at some point than i prefer to use other techniques simultaneously like matching marriage date in D-9 chart and also looking at D-12 and D-7 charts.

This sloke has been also discussed in details with examples in the
Magazine Jyotish Manthan August 2002 issue.


Since i have lot of discussion about this sloke with the author of the article (who was teacher of us at ICAS)  in magazine before it went to published.

The conclusion i remember are :
First of all it means that
Whenever jupiter is in Makar or Kumbh OR Saturn in Dhanu or Meena, (it is not at all the case of parivartana).
Than Saturn can bring 'Vriddi' OR Jupiter can bring  'Hani' of the house but what ?

Jupiter will lose its jeeva properties mainly like in 5th H problems related with children, in Lagna lack of semen, in 12th H cheats others, in 3H miser, etc.

It should be also noted that in north it is very populer that Kumbh rasi is used as the another exalted rasi for jupiter. Suppose Kumbh jupiter in 2H can give lot of wealth but no family happiness.

Similarly saturn will increase normally the material properties of the house.

This principle is very vague in nature and it should be applied with caution though it can be searched in panchangs.

I hope you are more cleared and there is no need for this sloke in advance application of astrology.

!It depends on other factors as well.For example i have ven conj(yuti) ketu in 11th(kama trikona).I am a bachelor and yogi(i practice yoga but dont preach)to the core.Ofcourse this yuti is aspd by Sat in my case.I think this yuti is not interested in yuvati!!..I also know a jivanmukta and also yogi who had a family and divorced.In his chart this yuti is in 12th in tauras.He also had sun,jup yuti in lagna.

Some very perceptive posts on this topic. Let me add my 2 cents:

I broadly agree with SheevaniJi that 7L/11H combos can indicate multiple relationships. However I would slightly disagree on 7L in 11H means only native has affair. 7H is also house of partner. 11H is house of friends. I have seen natives with 7L in 11H (afflicted) whose husbands have affairs. In short:

11H/11L are multipliers. Any association with 7L/7H can mean multiple relationships for self/spouse.
Especially potent combination for Scorpio Lagna. Why? For Scorpio, Me is 11L and 8L. Me in general is himself a Multiplier.
Me association with Ve or the 7H can cause multiple relationships.
Invariably though you need affliction of Venus by Saturn or Rahu most of the time (there are exceptions).
Another point is that Kama trikon is 3H/7H/11H. So any combination of above need to be kept in mind. 11L in 3H can also produce affairs if Venus is also afflicted.

To Vijay Ji's question, Rahu amplifies and Ketu dilutes. Ketu - Ve conjunction causes dilution of the postive attirbutes of Venus. Whether it leads to multiple affairs or renunciation, which are both different ways of perverting Venusian attibutes, depends on the overal tenor of the chart. Some times both are possible within one Life time.

Ketu promoting multiple affairs and diluting "positive" attributes of Venus - I would suggest that is more Rahu's domain. Yes perhaps after sometime the realization of Affairs Not being dharmic hit's home and causes the Native to re-think their thoughts/actions.

Yes, infatuation is definitely the domain of Rahu, but Ketu can also produce similar results under the right condition. Infact even when Ketu afflicts Venus by transit very closely in a dual sign (especially Mercury's) and if that Ve is already afflicted in Natal chart, it can create conditions for an illicit affair. Ketu's rashi and Nak dispositors are also important here.

It can be noted right now (7th feb 10) Ketu is transiting Ge, so people having afflicted Ve in Ge, running Ve dasha/antar or Ke dasha/antar should be concious of such possibilities

Therefore LK says Ketu is Pyaas (thirst), once quenched, it leads to detachment.

Whereas Rahu represent mirage where thirst is never quenched.

Actually my understanding on LK is based on different pitch and your's is different.

Your learning is based on direct application of LK principles whereas mine learning on LK moves through vedic principles route where many things comes to which LK ignores, mine route is bit busy, whereas you are running in a express highway of LK :).

LK says for 7th house Ketu is pyaas (thirst), hence forth i took Venus + ketu yuti to understandd it, which Manojji finely explained it.
The examples given by Gopiji & Renuji on this point was also very convincing.

Every planet represent thirst (yearning) of different type, for eg mercury has thirst to acquire knowledge, sun to acquire power etc.

Prime significator for 'Detachment' is only 'ketu' among all planets as also said by Sita Ramji. Ketu curtails the properties of the house in which it is situated. This 'emptiness' is described as 'thirst' of Ketu in LK. Ketu in 4th house, person always yearns for mother's love, (because he never gets it).
Thirst of Ketu, is based on Jal-tattwa, prime significator of Jal-tattwa is moon and venus.
So weak ketu give strong drive for love and sex but strong ketu curtails it completely by putting varaigya, ecliping the moon.

Hence in Gopiji's own chart, venus + ketu aspected by saturn, make him the Hatha yogi, to observe perfect control over body through penance.
Whereas in other case given by Gopiji, either saturn or ketu was somewhat weak to overcome moon.

[Note: strength of planets is looked in LK by observing the practical manifestation or impact of planet in individual's life, through Makaan Kundli , Palm Prints and Events]
